Bikes are built and shipped on a first come, first served basis. By placing an order now, you will be placed in the build queue and your bike will be reserved for you. Current estimated build dates are located on the build page sidebar.
Depending on demand, your bike is built within a few days of receiving your order. All items featured on the site are in stock and available unless noted otherwise. If an item or component color is unavailable or backordered, you will be notified as soon as practical of any delay or unavailability. Your bikes are assembled in our distribution center in South Florida and transit time to you varies by distance. Please review our general shipping policy for estimated transit times.
You're bike is packed in a heavyweight 7-layer shipping carton. Though packed for shipment, your Republic Bike will arrive approximately 90% assembled. Generally, assembly may require attaching pedals, front wheel, handlebars and adjustments. You'll need basic tools to get your bike built.
Choosing a right frame size is important for comfort and safety. Sizing is based on your body, fit and riding style. In an effort to keep our bikes as affordable as we can, we have limited the frame sizes available. For lack of a more appropriate description, the Aristotle frame sizes roughly translate into a "large," "medium" and "small." Please use the suggested guidelines below to determine appropriate frame size before ordering. The standover height is the distance from the ground to the top bar of the bicycle. Your body proportions should affect your decision if you're between sizes.

We've made our shipping and handling prices and policy as fair as possible, so you benefit from our low prices plus the convenience of delivery to your door. We ship within the continental United States only by FedEx Ground service.
Gift Cards are shipped First Class Mail via the US Postal Service and are typically received within 5 – 7 days of shipment. Republic Bike Gift Cards are valid for the purchases of one custom built bike as well as the associated shipping costs ($399 Bike + $34 P&H). At checkout the product total will show $399 & postage will show as $34, but the total value of the Gift Card will be $433. For your protection, Republic Bike will automatically recognize your Gift Card when you redeem it, and populate the shipping address the Gift Card was sent to. Depending on the destination, shipping will require between 2-8 business days. If you ordered two or more items, you may receive them in multiple boxes on different days.
Please use the tracking numbers provided in your shipping confirmation email to track the progress of multiple boxes.
When you’re ready to purchase, click add to cart next to the item. That puts the item in your shopping cart and takes you to the cart page, where you'll be able to view the items you've added to your cart. You can also change the quantity of each item you've selected or remove items, if you want. From your cart, you can either proceed to checkout or continue to shop. You can return to the shopping cart by any time by clicking cart on the page header.
Sales tax is only applied only to orders that are shipped to the State of Florida. Florida state sales tax is 6% (plus additional county surcharges where applicable). Shipping and handling charges are taxable in the State of Florida.
Orders placed in Florida are not subject to sales tax if the order is shipped outside of Florida.

We also accept Republic Bike Gift Cards, valid for the purchase and postage & handling of one custom built Republic Bike. Shortly after completion of placing your order, you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order. You will receive a second email & your credit card will be charged once we begin building your custom made order.
You’ll receive a third and final email when your order has shipped. Please save these email invoices for your records. Returns require a return authorization number for processing. A return authorization number can be obtained by emailing us at returns@republicbike.com. This return authorization number must be clearly marked on the outside of the package upon return. In order to offer our customers the lowest prices possible, we must have certain limits on our return policy in regards to shipping fees. Therefore, all shipping charges, outbound and return, are non-refundable. For items purchased with free-shipping, the current cost of shipping, of similar items without free-shipping, is non-refundable. Returns can only be accepted within 30 days from the purchase date. For backorder items, returns are accepted within 30 days from the shipped date. There are no restocking fees for returned items.
Republic Bike warrants the frame and fork of each new Republic Bike brand bicycle to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. All other original components and all Republic Bike brand repair parts, replacement parts and accessories are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for a period of sixty (60) days from the original date of purchase.
Limited Remedy
Unless otherwise provided, the sole remedy under the above warranty or any implied warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts with those of equal or greater value at the sole discretion of Republic Bike. You will be responsible for labor costs associated with warranty replacements. IN NO EVENT SHALL REPUBLIC BIKE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, WARRANTY, NEGLIGENCE, OR PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, PERSONAL INJURY DAMAGES, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR ECONOMIC LOSSES.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
EXCLUSIONS
THE ABOVE WARRANTY, OR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY, DOES NOT COVER NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR, AND ALL WARRANTIES ARE VOID IF THE BICYCLE IS USED FOR OTHER THAN NORMAL ACTIVITIES. INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE OWNER’S MANUAL USING THE BICYCLE FOR COMMERCIAL ACTIVITIES OR IN COMPETITIVE EVENTS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BICYCLE RACING, BICYCLE MOTORCROSS RACING, STUNT RIDING, RAMP JUMPING OR SIMILAR ACTIVITIES, AND TRAINING FOR SUCH ACTIVITIES OR EVENTS. REPUBLIC BIKE MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THAT OF THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES STATED ABOVE.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
